351c block opportunity to buy

I have a chance to pick up a 351c block. Fresh machined. Bored .40 over with new cam bearings. Block was line honed as well. Is a 4 bolt main D2AE-CA block with a 1L26 date code. My guess would be a 72CJ block. Owner doesn’t know much about it. He bought out the inventory of a very reputable machine shop in town after the owner passed away. He will sell it to me for $200. Thoughts??

I have a spare sitting around, and with the track boss block now in production at least there are options. But if you don't need it, somebody here could use it I am sure.

Have it sonic tested for cylinder wall thickness before you build it. It is cheap insurance.

The 4 bolt caps are probably close to the $200 alone.
