71, 72, 73 Doors

Are 71,2,3 doors from non convertibles interchangeable, i.e. 72 grande doors on a 73 mach 1? P.s. if you got doors you're trying to get rid of, I'm interested

Doors are all the same, only consistent difference will be the door lock clip style depending upon year. You may also find doors that are cut for the wire convolute for speakers and/or power windows.

Side glass is not. You have clear & tinted, Coupe/convertible and Sportsroof. Also power and non-power window glass.

I'm almost certain all doors are the same for the 3 years and models.

There are parts you might need to transfer from yours to the "new" ones. power or not, some have chrome trims (so you might have holes to make or close)

and some have a chrome weatherstrips instead of all rubber. But the shells should be the same. again, almost certain. May be someone can confirm or let me learn something.

The other area that is different is the attachment points for the Standard arm rest and door latch inside handle or the Deluxe door panels. I think there is a different bracket will not swear to it but think so.

Glass between models is biggest difference. Lots of little clips and nuts for the P.W. option also.
