71-73 Cowl "hats" both Sides

Hello, new to this forum. I am in desperate need of a good pair of cowl hats for my 71 mach 1 fastback. Whole engine bay is restored and a brand new cowl as well, old cowl hats are eaten out BAD. A guy is gonna fabricate to make the old ones work but I prefer ones in better condition. Here is what the old ones looked like:

And with the Engine Bay and Cowl Restored:

If anyone could help me in finding some better ones please let me know as it feels like I have looked everywhere. Thanks

They don't just make that part aftermarket. You can check with Don at Ohio Mustang for the entire cowl assembly.

I feel real stupid but, what are the cowl hats?

They are raised sections kind of shaped like a top hat only open on the top that surround the vent openings on the inner cowl.

I would think any metal shop could fabricate the cowl hats in a snap it they had an example to work from.

Doug I know what you are after I Require the same two peices they join the vent cowl to the Rear fender aprons they are not simple to make and there is no replacement available
