71 Mach 1 Drive Shaft

We put stock spring shackles and Leafs Back on our 71 Mach 1 after removing old worn out leafs and spring shackles that were Home made out of iron with adjustable holes they were 3 inches longer than stock shackles .We went to put the driveshaft back in after the new leafs and shackles were installed and it is now to Long. Any one know the length the driveshaft should be for a 71 mach 1 with a 460 lincoln and a c-6 transmission

+1..Got to measure it..Then if too long.. take it over to a local auto machine shop and have it cutt down...Wont cost much..They will balance it out and everything.

Is the C6 from a Lincoln as well? They use a longer tailshaft than a standard Ford passenger car C6. Best to measure what you have.
