Strange considering the order type is retail, I'm pretty sure that means a customer ordered it, not just dealer stock.

Yes, that is VERY peculiar to take more than a few weeks for a retail order. Something must have happened with the customer. Perhaps he ordered but could not secure financing & the dealership had to sell to someone else. Maybe the customer died or something before the car arrived at the dealership. Who knows!

Nice options. One thing I've noticed since studying Marti reports is that almost all M-code cars have nice options. My guess is that since 71 was the first year of the new body style that if someone made an order for the larger 4V 351 then they opted for a few other things too. My M-code cars have more options than any of my other 71-73 cars.
