Hi

I am replacing the 351 CJ in my 72 grande with a 393 cleveland stroker.

I would like to replace the engine mounts when I do the swap.

What are the strongest engine mounts available.

Anchor?

Glazier Nolan?

Or something else

Thanks

Ward

I have a 500 + hp 351 CJ in my 71 Cougar and run stock over the counter parts store engine mounts. Driving like a maniac I've never had a problem.

When I was young I ripped apart a stock over the counter engine mount with a 200ci 6cyl in my 65 while racing a camaro. (Long story)

Since then I've used a small chain to anchor my engine down in the case of a failure. Nothing worse than a dent in the hood from the carb stud poking it. I tried the performance mounts but the vibrate to much for a Driven street car.
