Hey all, I am going through 4 milk crates of misc Ignition parts from my father's now closed marine business. Can anyone help me with a Standard Ignition/ Blue Streak question?
My ignition catalog stops at 1966, the rotor listed for a 302 is a FD-106, 106X but the current online recommendation for a 73 302 is for a FD-311T. They both fit in my dizzy and are clocked correctly and show to work with the
FD-129X cap. The only difference I can see is the 106 has three slots that the 311 doesn't.

Thanks for any help
Bryan

Edit; just found the catalog includes 1970

While I wait to see if anyone has info about a possible superseded number situation I will try the NOS BlueStreak rotor and update later

From what I can tell FD106 is a discontinued number and no longer available except as NOS. The only thing I could find is that it fit 1957-74 V8 Ford Lincoln Mercury Thunderbird & Truck. The FD311T is a current part number that fits our cars with the 302.351 and 429 engines.

Awesome, that's what I thought but didn't know. Thanks for the help. This picture might help with why I wanted to know lol.

tip o the iceberg 😩 I really need to ID everything. Dad worked at the local ford dealership as an A mechanic before opening his marine business, I’ve got NOS fomoco I don’t even know, all pre 1970. Good kind of problem I guess.
