I have a 73 Mustang front and rear valance that somebody can have. They are by no means perfect and do need some work, but they are not destroyed by any means. I will post some pictures in a day or two.

It is just a plain flat rear valance, no cut outs for the exhaust.

Someone was looking for the one with the cutouts a while back.
No '73 valance had the cutouts due to factory turn-down pipes.

But one with cut outs will bolt right on. Not everyone really cares how they came from the factory .

I have two original 73 Q code Mach 1's manufactured 1 week apart in July 1973. One has the dual exhaust cutouts with chrome tips, the other has no cut outs and turned down tail pipes.

dibs? or am I too late
I still have them, let me put some pictures up tomorrow. You can take a look see and if you want them send me a zip code. I will then get you a shipping quote but it will take me a couple of days to get them boxed up.

I second that Dad's Q Code has cutouts don't recall build date

Picture of the front and rear valance, red circles with arrows shows where they are damaged.

Except for the guy who wanted the one with the cutouts ;)

Leave it to Ford to inject a topic of discussion.According to my Marti mine was built 12/7/72. Called original owner and he claims that was the way it came.
Interesting - a running change then, with Ford using up all their spare straight-out exhaust hardware?
