Anyone with experience or knowledge about how to remove the lower body trim on 3rd gen Galaxies? Oh, and likewise how to remove the "Galaxie" lettering. Thanks.

I have a copy of that which is indeed helpful. I guess I just carefully pry off the letters? The rocker panel trim is the real question. Once it is snapped into the fasteners that are riveted to the body, how do I remove it without damage?

The quarter trim looks like two clips with nuts and a bunch of sealant coated screws Once you get the nuts off the rocker trim retainers, the plastic clips are usually pull up and pop out at the top, or down and pop out the bottom. I don't have a '66 manual for the full size cars, Forel offers them in PDF downloads for $17.00. They have nicer illustrations than the MPC. https://fordmanuals.com/product/1966-ford-and-mercury-shop-manual/
