Help!! I’m restoring a 1973 Mustang and finishing up the front suspension. There is nothing online on how to install em. I have found a bunch of different torque specs and various points to tighten first but it’s not helping at all. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. You can see the type of strut rods I’m working with in the photos.

I'd secure it to the lower control arm then tighten the nuts at the bushings. Your strut rod install will affect the caster setting of your wheel alignment. You'll want to install the rod to locate the tire/wheel using the rear nuts so the tire is centered in the wheel well opening when looked at from the side of the car. Once your satisfied it's close tighten the front nuts. This will get you in the ballpark and your mechanic will adjust accordingly when setting the alignment.

Thank you, that was my thought process but wanted to get someone else’s opinion. I kept seeing that you tighten the front bolt then do the lower control arm last which made no sense to me.
