Hi, I have a 73 base convertible and the drivers side mirror is DIZB-17743-AA. The car did not come with a passenger side mirror. Does anyone know if they made the same style mirror for the passenger side? I'd like to add one. Thanks for reading my post.

I believe it's the same used on both sides. The mirror swivels 360 degrees.

I'm going through this now. I picked up a pair of Scott drakes "for 73" but they are larger and don't have the correct angle, they will stick out too much IMO. I am going to learn to use 3d printers to try and make a base for the mirror. If successful, I will post the results and the file. The base gasket included with the mirrors were stamped for 67-68 so that tells you why they don't workout of the box.
The stock mirror has an angle coming off of the foot thar would prevent you from swapping sides.
I just found my pictures 20221210_130555.jpg20221210_130427.jpg

Scott Drake's mirror isn't a correct '71-73 style, it's not even correct as a 69-70. They say it's an exact reproduction of the 67-68 mirror, but then put it in their application engine as a 67-73. Consider it as a universal "fits all" type. It will work if you're not picky on the angle.

You can get the real deal D1ZZ mirror, but it'll cost you

ACP offers a correct 71-73 mirror, that is angled properly. However, this causes a problem if you want to install it on the passenger side. Ford didn't offer a passenger side rectangular chrome mirror for the 71-73s. If you wanted two mirrors, it was the racing style, or you made do with one from another car.

I knew they weren't correct but i wanted a chrome pair that would match each other(they are so big). I thought about the racing style but never really appreciated the style. (My brain see's Camaro)
So just to double check, nobody makes a passenger side "correct look" chrome mirror for 71-73?
