Ball Joint DIY Removal tool

For those who have needed to work on suspension components and not wanted to damage existing parts to be able to re-use them I recently found this ball joint tool online and looks to be a great solution versus the traditional pickle fork. I am in the process of fabricating one up right now, but it looks pretty straight forward. Hope this can help someone down the line to keep from destroying your upper or lower ball joints in an effort to make other repairs.

Sounds like a good idea as long as it is long enough to fit in the in between the upper and lower joints. I guess you can always use some wood as spacer.

That's a nice home brew take on the Ford dealership service tool. I made one years ago, but it went MIA at some point.
