My "new" '73 Convertible had been sitting mostly over the last 5 or so years, only driven about 200 miles. It has A/C but needs charging. When I use the vent and blower it has a funky, like stale odor. Question...is there a cabin filter or somewhere to clean to freshen it up? Thanks for your help!

There is no cabin air filter. Our cars were built 20 years before they became the norm. Your smell is either mold on your evaporator core or some critter pooped or died in you heater/evaporator box. Try spraying Lysol into the fresh air intake with the blower on high. This will kill the mold. Good luck
