Centre console gauges stopped working. Oil pressure, temp.

My console gauges (fuel pressure, temperature) started playing up, no reading. I tapped the gauges and they came to life for 1 more drive. Next week they stopped working completely. The manual does not show a fuse for it. What should i check.

Good chance it's the bi-metal voltage regulator. It mounts on the flex circuit board within the display cluster. Do a search on the site to show location.

If your fuel gauge doesn't act up while the center gauges go bad, then it isn't the IVR itself. Sounds like you have a loose contact in and around the gauge cluster in the console if you can tap it and it comes back to life.
