Hi to all,

Isn't the Internet an amazing thing! It connects us world wide, and makes our world more closer and personal as we share with each other.

Here in Australia, there are a few small production, free to air television shows, that go around Oz for the classic car enthusiasts to enjoy. They feature a mix of American cars and Australian classic cars as well.

We have an Australian based Insurance company called Shannons Insurance, that specialises in insuring classic cars of all types. They have gone to the trouble of collecting these classic car shows, and letting the public watch them through their website.

I have provided a direct link to the web page, so you can click on and select a particular show and episode to watch and enjoy. If for any reason, you find that you can't get access to the shows, let me know. There's hours of enjoyment provided here to watch at your leisure. Enjoy!

Thanks,

Greg.:)

Hey Greg,

Very cool idea. I should be able to access that site on my smart TV and check them out. I do enjoy watching shows about cars. Do you get any American or British shows down under? I love chasing classic cars, what's my car worth, over hauling and my favorite British show is wheeler dealer. Thanks again... Pete

Hi Pete,

Yeah, i hope you get to watch some shows and enjoy them .With our free to air Australian network TV stations, we get a small few American car shows and Top Gear England. We also get a few on our pay TV network as well.

Were you able to view the shows on your computer, from the website connection i gave you above?

I was stunned, and well pleased, after moving to Brisbane and seeing what motorheads the Australians were. I had no idea. My only issue, if I can call it that, was that so many of the neat cars were four doors???

Yes it's true Ed,

The two door styling never caught on here in Oz in a big way over the decades. The convertible scene was the same. This is where American cars showed the world what great styling and flair their designs had. The wow factor if you like. And yes, the car culture has always been strong in Australia over the decades as well.
