Itās like a big sticker itās three pieces the front piece and the sides are separate. They give you one extra side piece.
Then you mask off the rest of the sides.
My Mach1 did not have the factory hood stencil paint option. But as far as it's exact placement....the Ford production line usually got it somewhat close but not exact most of the time. After 50+ years there continues to be many opinions and debate is what is "correct" on our cars. Fact is, no two 71,72,73 Stang rolled off the assembly line put together EXACTLY the same way or "Perfect" to book spec.Iād like to supply some info for people thinking of using this stencil and its placement.
If you put it too far back like I did it makes the sides too small where the raised snorkels taper down towards the front.
Not to noticeable especially if you donāt know about these cars. Moving it an inch forward would have widened that area.
