It has come a long way! Looks great, too!
Thanks Iād say in about 2 weeksSweet looking! Any general estimate when she'll be "on the road" 70cobrascj?
Like your driveway... same as mine. Thanks appreciate it
I am pretty happy with it I think it came out pretty nice considering I have never done bodywork before but thatās just me.

Itās like a big sticker itās three pieces the front piece and the sides are separate. They give you one extra side piece.
Then you mask off the rest of the sides.
My Mach1 did not have the factory hood stencil paint option. But as far as it's exact placement....the Ford production line usually got it somewhat close but not exact most of the time. After 50+ years there continues to be many opinions and debate as to what is "correct" on our cars. Fact is, no two 71,72,73 Stangs rolled off the assembly line put together EXACTLY the same way or "Perfect" to book spec.Iād like to supply some info for people thinking of using this stencil and its placement.
If you put it too far back like I did it makes the sides too small where the raised snorkels taper down towards the front.
Not to noticeable especially if you donāt know about these cars. Moving it an inch forward would have widened that area.

Nice jobIt does indeed look nice! I am reluctant to give this feedback since it is so nice, and it certainly doesn't matter if you are happy. But if you are super concerned about originality...
I think you may have your hood blackout set too far back on the hood. From the factory it was positioned a couple inches farther forward:

Totally agree thatās why it doesnāt bother me enough to worry about it.My Mach1 did not have the factory hood stencil paint option. Even though today's factory newly built 2025 cars are far closer to engineering spec then the 1970's, they are still far from exactly to book specs.
My opinion boys.

Thanks
Car is looking sweet 70cobrascj. FWIW, there is no real need to glue the trunk water strip. I keep mine "unglued". Since this weather strip channel is a known rust area on our cars it's a good idea to occasionally pull the rubber a bit for inspection. Just my opinion.A wee bit closer.
Interior is 99 percent done just have to install dash pad screws.
Finish installing stripes.
Install door seals.
Glue trunk seal, waiting to do that after I leave the trunk closed for a few days to smash down the seal and form it better to the shape. View attachment 98021
You're moving right along with it! Looks great! What size Magnum (7" or 8") and tires do you have on the back?A wee bit closer.
