Interior paint color

My door tag says CB, Medium Blue. Is that paint code 3D?

CB is the interior trim code - medium blue knitted vinyl. 3D is the exterior paint code for medium blue metallic.

I’m trying to figure out the actual ford color of the painted interior parts. I’ve got the exterior color code, it’s on the Marti report, but the color of the metal dash parts is not cited anywhere.

Steve...this might help you. I copied this from a post that @Hemikiller responded to a while back that really helped me. This is for all of Ford 1973's interior colors and where the colors are used (interior components) on each model. If I'm right you have the 73 vert with the CB interior trim so you would paint everything Blue Metallic Ford Part number 4021 from this chart. I don't know where Dennis comes up with all this stuff but it's great. For my Avocado interior he also had the SEM paint number & mix for the Ford Color so maybe he can help on yours too?

Here's the SEM formula for the Medium Blue interior paint. I had a quart mixed by a local auto body supply shop when I did the interior of my '71.

NPD's interior paint is a really good match for the Medium Blue. I bought a couple cans when I went through the interior of the XR7 a couple years ago.
