correct blue paint

I could not find this info in a search. What is the correct blue paint for an air cleaner and where can I get it?

so that's not the same as 'corporate blue'? and would most auto finishers, paint and body supply carry it?

There's actually three shades of Ford Blue: Corporate Blue (dark), light Ford Blue (used circa 64) and Ford Blue. The Corporate Blue has a bit of purple in it, and was generally used on engines from 66 on up. I lost track of when they went to Ford Blue.

An excellent modern color for Corporate Blue is DAR 13338.

I used it on a friends 66 Thunderbird 428ci car. Spot on match. It needs to be thinned to be sprayed though as its pretty thick straight out of the can.

IMO, the dupli color paints are a bit bright, like they don't have enough black pigment.
