Hi Guys;

I decided to put my 15 inch Cragar SS Uni-lug wheels back on my car but it has been a couple of years and I forgot which way the washers go.

I have the offset washers with the hole closer to one side so need to know the following;

Should the offset washer be fitted with the thin part (side w/ hole closest to washer edge) toward the "center cap" of the wheel?

or

Should the offset washer be fitted with the thin part (side w/ hole closest to washer edge) toward the outer "rim part" of the wheel?

Its a nice day today so would like to do this in a little while so if anyone who also has Cragar SS wheels on their car can let me know that would be great

AJ

The 73 I just sold had Keystone uni-lug wheels and the small side of the washer was toward the center.

Thank you for the very quick reply and would this be correct for a Cragar SS wheel as well?

Just a quick follow up, I checked and it looks like the Cragar SS washers will only fit w/ the thin edge facing toward the center cap the thicker end slips in between two cast ears in the wheel.

Thank you agan 71mach351 in for your reply

No kidding! I'm planning on Cragar SSs myself - love to see how yours looks. ::thumb::

Hi Eric;

I just put the wheels back on today and here's a picture of the car w/ the Cragar Rims , In my opinion very nice looking wheels for our cars.

These are what came on my car originally when I bought it but they are peeling a little so I had bought some used 14" magnums which looked real nice but decided the ride was better with the 15" wheels so put them back on the car.

PS; excuse the dirt on the car but I never wash it , the paint is over 32yrs old so I just brush it every now and then to keep it clean

Sweet! Looks awesome! I SO can't wait to get mine some new Cragar shoes. :D

Thanks for sharing! ::thumb::

Thank you and your silver Mach 1 will look great with them, they are one of the most iconic wheels of the muscle car era so tend to look good on any body style of our cars.
