Love the clean look on the engine bay and will look even better with some colour on it
Thanks a lot! Me too! Cant wait to get colour on some day. I would really like to remove the wiper motor too, but I cant really figure out what system to use instead, it would have been nice with a system inside the car. My plan for paint are to go with the colour on the wheels and finish of with a matte clear, that would look amazing I think. I will build custom panels to cover up things too and a home made export brace, this is gonna be awesome some day. But for next step the plan are to get the epoxy primer sprayed inside the car too, cant wait for that :D

A little step forward today, it does’nt look like much for some, but for me it’s a huge progress :D Got the other fender cleaned today. All holes for trim, emblem, sidemarker and antenna are welded up and finished to get the clean look that I want, I also had some rust that I needed to fix. It has been a good day for me, I like it! :D

Continued today with some good progress! I began on the rear wheelhouses, they needed some rust repair and the outer wheelhouse needed to be welded together with the fender lip after cutting a little of them to secure that they wont rub of the rear tires. The reason for that they are’nt finished yet are because that I could’nt decide if I wanted to make the rear fender flares wider, but I have decided not to do that, so the plan are to get them finished now with welding then sand everything to bare metal, then prime them with a rust preventing primer, then epoxy and then the black material as I used in the front :D Hope to continue tomorrow and finish up the welding and maybe put some primer on :D

If you cant see what’s in the pictures. The 3 first pictures are the left wheelhouse with the weldings and metal shaping done, the other 2 pictures are the right one where I have tack welded a piece that I will complete tomorrow and the other picture shows a metal plate that needs to be replaced. The last picture are just a picture of the entire wheelhouse to see how it looks like before it’s finished :D

^^^^ Okay, the pictures did’nt upload in the direction as I thought they would, I hope you can see what is what :D

Completed the other side. Nothing special and I could probably have made it better, but it’s done now and it’s welded nice together and will hold up. Everything will get sealed anyway. Now of to the cleaning process and then primer! :D

Just spend a couple of hours in the shop and finally got the black bedliner sprayed on the wheelhouses and front inner fenders! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Look the contrast between the white primer and the black bedliner in front, looks amazing and also tells me that I’m working in the right direction! Soon I can get the front suspension installed again hopefully for the last time! The wheelhouses also just looks amazing now, it just looks finished, I really like it! :)

Wow!  Coming along nicely!!

Forgive me if you've already covered this, but did you have the glass custom made or are you using factory style glass with the channels modded to make them work as flush-mounted pieces?

Amazing work as usual, my friend!  ::thumb::
