First the sink hole at the Corvette museum and now this. They said it was the batteries in the trunk for the strobe lights, but it doesn't make me want to run out and buy one!

And here I thought only the volts had to worry about battery fires, lol

I was at that race Saturday night. The pace car catching fire was just one of a few bizzare incidents.

During the ARCA race earlier there was a pretty cool smash up right on the start stripe, which our seats were right behind.

Then during the next race, 8 of 16 cars were taken out right before turn #1 with Danica Patrick taking a lot of the carnage on her car.

The pace car fiasco was pretty comical...the MRN announcers were trying thier best not to make fun of it.

Those races are great: relatively cheap ($100), parking $20, 2 good races with great seats, not too crowded with people, and traffic was light.

And as an extra bonus, we walked across the street between races to Hooters for some wings and drinks and were waited on by the absolute best-looking Hooters girl I have ever seen! And I've been a Hooters regular for 25 years.

Short, thin and blonde, beautiful face, awesome smile, perfect tiny round butt and even perfect-er nice round hooters...Hannah, next time I'm in Daytona, I hope you're working!
