difference in original valve cover

I've seen two original valve covers for cars. One says powered by ford and the other just has ford. I think just ford ones came later. Does anyone know the cross over point? I want to get the correct ones.

Jim...there was another thread on this recently but could not locate. Mine just say Ford on them and my car was a 6/73 build.

Mine has "powered by Ford" and is a 12/71 build.
