I have not had a chance to go through my doors yet, I'm hoping to do it this winter. My windows tip front to back a little bit, and of course they rattle when the windows are down, and they don't seem to meet up with the weatherstripping on the car. (Too far in?) Making the doors hard to close when the windows are rolled up. Any advise to someone who has not done doors yet? Also The drivers door could stand a hinge pin replacement, can this be done with the fenders still on?

Well I think your going to have to remove the door apholstery and inside the door there are a few places to adjust the window. Only make one adjustment at a time then check the results, roll up the window, close the door. It may take some time but you'll get it. Also check for anything broken inside the door while you have the thing apart. I think you can replace the hinge pin without removing the front fender but Your going to need a second pair of hands and maybe a jack stand or a floor jack to help hold the door in place. Let me know how this works out because I need to do my drivers side door, after 43 years of holding up that heavy ass door it's getting tired. I don't blame it.

I did some research and without seeing it looks like you probably only need to replace the bushings on the pin but to be safe I'd buy both and I'm not sure but it looks like that unless you have the special wrenches needed your going to have to remove the fender to replace the pin and bushings. I could be wrong, I'm wrong all the time, just ask my wife

Take the plastic splash shield out of the fender well to access the hinges.

It's real tight working in there

You have to cut the original pins as they are peened over
