2 of my friends had their front tires replaced for free (5000 mi service). 1 guy I talked to got charged for labor and they pro-rated the tire tread. I just happen to have one of these tires on my 09 HD. Since I bought the bike slightly used (681 mi) and not from my local dealer they will most lightly pro-rate me. I have 3800 mi now and do notice a slight wobble below 30 mph. Just thought I would pass it on. Mark

Not good I usually get 8-12000 out of a front on mine, the rear is a little different story:blush: I went with Metzlers this last time and will be swapping back or going to the Michelin's next time, nothing specific just not real pleased with them.

I ran Metzlers on my 1100 Shadow, and preferred them over the Dunlops, more mileage and better ride. On the Voyager I run the Dunlop Elite II's and get about 20k on the rear, a little more on the front.

WOW 20000 from a tire? Are you riding it on pavement?

I guess since this is a touring bike, the rubber compound is different on the tire. I know some folks that are running car tires on the back of their bikes...I don't think I want to do that.

Tire problem is a problem nobody would want to have. Since tires are one of the most important part of a car and a motorcycle. It is never a secret that tires nowadays are expensive but not all are efficient. However, it doesn't mean that if a tire is expensive its a promise that it is also efficient. If anyone of you will buy tires choose the one with the best quality. Because if you get to have those efficient tires taking out a personal loan for tires will be prevented.

I had a 1 Dunlop rear delaminate at 680kms on my softail. However I like Dunlop's for here in Aus, Metzelers are good, hate avons and Pirellis are good. Only ever seemed to get about 6000-7000km out of tyres.
