My cousin shooting the highly rare AMT 45 WIN MAG today...What a beast..Walked him back a step when he let loose on the trigger..hehe
You'll love that 10/22 takedown, I got one last fall. My favorite 22 now.Too bad you can't get any ammo around here!I had got some goodies after christmas for my SKS. Get compliments everytime I go to the range, before my wife started having problems I was enjoying my S&W M&P Shield 9mm, for such a small frame this compact is a joy to shoot with.
I had also planned on picking up the Ruger 10/22 Takedown. I think it would compliment the wife's Ruger SR22.
The owner of the company I work for just told me he has 9 AR lowers coming to him and he's going to build a few from kits. He asked if I would be interested in a complete fluted barrelled AR for just COST, little under $600 he says. If only, haha!
Wild how much SKS's are selling for now....I use to be able to pick them up for 50 bucks a peice ..packed in cosmoline ..Those days are gone...lolYou'll love that 10/22 takedown, I got one last fall. Yeah I picked up a used Yugo 59/66a1 last year, cost me $300 but it's a dang nice overlooked rifle. went to my local gun shop and they had a used chinese sks, sticker $799.00 :huh:Wild how much SKS's are selling for now....I use to be able to pick them up for 50 bucks a peice ..packed in cosmoline ..Those days are gone...lolYou'll love that 10/22 takedown, I got one last fall. What model of S&W you got? Got a model 27...model 25...and a model 19-2 pc magna......I like the 10/22 my self...Been a good rifle...I tell you a good little 22 alot of people over look ...Is a marlin model 60 semi 22...tube feed or clip...My brother has abused one he got for 75 bucks when he was a kid...And shoots the hell out of it...They still only sell for 130 bucks new now days...Been thinking about getting one my self. http://www.marlinfirearms.com/firearms/selfloading/60.asp
There clip version with black stock is only 159... http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=706407 I do like there "Automatic last-shot bolt hold-open" Rarely see that in many 22 auto's.
Ohh yes...My freind works for federal security and has to use that same S&W...Good guns i hear...I have not pulled the trigger on them yet....But got to pull the trigger on the compitions...The glocks and springfield xdYeah I picked up a used Yugo 59/66a1 last year, cost me $300 but it's a dang nice overlooked rifle. went to my local gun shop and they had a used chinese sks, sticker $799.00
The smith&wesson is a semi auto compact from thier newish M&P (military&police) line.
Single stack 9mm carry gun, comes with a 8 rounder and a 7 round mag +1 of course.

bought this from my wife to practice with before she started having her health issues,

both are very good guns, i have about 700 rnds through the .22 and havent had a single issue yet,
put about 250 throught the Shield 9 and not a hickup either, obviously I cant shoot as much as i'd like as the panic buying is still in full swing here, i can usualy find all ammo at my range but they mark it up so much.
799 for a chinese one{shakes head} Wow i couldnt imagine how much the rare romania ones are going for now.
Not a bad looking 22 ruger there...I always usualy liked the classic mark 22 line of pistols that look like lugers
BTW Kermit...They loaded down with 22 in my area...I had no issues finding alot of bricks over at out local ace and old griggs department store....Just went shopping this week and found a bunch...More than i could afford thats for sure..lol...even found 30/40 krag on the shelf.
It was more for fun with a bunch of family...But i would say we all pulled off some decent shots...we had alot of old cans set up on the post...and nailed every thing we shot at....I got alot more footage...even with old 22's up too 58 cal..lol...But i had to stop on my footage...My band noticed i put up some video's and im suposta be making some video for the band....opppss!! busted..lolSo how did the scoring go? Who did better on the target?
yeah the mark series is a classic! However she didn't like them, and found the slide a lot easier to rack. The trigger on the shield is pretty decent it really loosens up after 100 shots, very nice audible reset as well.Ohh yes...My freind works for federal security and has to use that same S&W...Good guns i hear...I have not pulled the trigger on them yet....But got to pull the trigger on the compitions...The glocks and springfield xdYeah I picked up a used Yugo 59/66a1 last year, cost me $300 but it's a dang nice overlooked rifle. went to my local gun shop and they had a used chinese sks, sticker $799.00

Ya not everyone loves the mark series...I had a real long barrel 9mm luger i sold few years ago...i miss it..and the mark series is close i can get for a decent price...i cant pay 2000 and up for a shooter any more...lol...I got a few such guns im afraid too shoot due to value..hate that..hehe...That little ruger 22 you got there kinda reminds me of the newer walther 22'syeah the mark series is a classic!
