I just bought a Performer 2750 manifold for my 351C 2v with Auto and now I am looking for a carb.

From other posts the Edelbrock 1406 carb has been recommended.

I have found a couple of these carbs locally but I need to know if the second set of numbers matter on the carb.

I have seen 1406 1164 or 1406 2318.

Anyone know what the second set of numbers mean?

Should I be looking for a specific set of numbers?

Thanks guys.

No i dont think you need to worry about them numbers too much.....I think a 1405 or a 1406 will pretty much be all the same out of the box from edelbrock.....I think its telling you the main jet size...othere number mite be just somthing as simple as gasket kit numbers....First number thou...1164...Comes out over and over online as a edelbrock jet size....Second little harder to pin down.
