I have a 71 351C 2V engine with new Edelbrock Performer manifold with Holley 4V carb that has electric choke.

Old ones had thermal choke.

Where is a good connection for the [ + ] side of the electric choke?

Instructions say to connect to a good ignition activated +12V source.

Suggestions please?

Do you have an electric choke wire with a female spade connector coming off the harness running along side the passenger side of the carb? That's what I used.
Mine is a 71 so it did not have electric choke = no wire.

I ran it to the STA connector.

Thanks guys.

Just added fluids, hopefully will get her started soon!::chili::

Oops, for some reason I was thinking you had a '73 even though you said that yours was a '71 in the first line. Good job on the choke.

Looking forward to the first start-up video! Woot!
