Hey Guys,

Can anyone help me with a pic or info where the emergency cable comes through the drivers floor on a 72. It's all rotted and the new pan has no sign of where it should enter.

Thanks,

D. Rolls

Thanks Jeff. I assume I am going to drill a hole in the pan and fit this in. Maybe seam seal it underneath?

Darren 72,

The emergency brake cable entrance is a vertical oblong slot. The slot is required due to the way the cable lays against the floor to connect to the pedal assembly.

If you can get to the inner frame, I would recommend the Eastwood Inner frame coating to help prevent corrison.
