I am preparing to install some ACC EVA backed sound deadener and ran into a question. They only sell one kind on their website and don't have much for instructions accept - "install poly side down/paper side up". No video or instructions online to help guide and they close shop at noon on Fridays.
First off - how do I tell which side is EVA backed? One side looks leathery, and the other more plasticy.
Second - I had assumed EVA had a plastic peal off and stick approach but for the life of me I can't peel off anything off either side. How does one apply this type of EVA backed material? Is it pressure or activated in some other way? Do I use contact cement? IDK?
