Parts Wanted Extended Carb Studs - 72 Mach 1 2V

Hey everybody,

I had my carb rebuilt by Chicago Carb and the gasket they supplied is about 3/16" thicker than what was on there originally, making the studs too short to hold down the carb. Does anybody have, or know where I can find studs that are a little longer?

ARP, they have 1st class fasteners for your carb setup.

If you want them right away, you should be able to go to the local NAPA or O'Reillys and pick some up...maybe even Ace Hardware.

If you're desperate, get some all thread from the local hardware store and make your own studs.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was hoping there would be a Ford part that I could use. There isn't a rush, but I'm guessing since the gasket isn't OEM the studs won't really matter either. It's not like I can't keep them in a baggie if I decide to go back to the thin-style gasket.
