Looking to replace front spoiler on my 71 Mach1. The old spoiler I installed back in the 80's had slotted holes that allow for adjustment when installing. Any help would be appreciated.

I got the same one as Tony-muscle, and it fits fine.
Actually, The one I have now is the second, because the first one I installed, I scraped off on a parking bumper. This one, I re-enforced the mounting screw area with a metal strip under the spoiler attachment area.

Good idea to reinforce the mounting area. It is kind of weak, but on the other hand it would prevent the next piece to brake.

I acquired our front spoiler from CJ Pony Parts a few years ago. It was easy to install. I used C-clamps to hold it in place as I drilled the pilot holes for the self drilling.tapping hex headed screws I purchased from Home Depot, vs using the sheet metal screws that were included in the spoiler kit. I dare say it turned out really nicely. We did not video record the actual installation, but I do have an after-the-fact video that shows some details I felt were worth sharing. I also took some photos - attached FWIW. The one video I put together is at the following YouTube site:

Not to hijack the thread, but I really dislike front license plates.
Mike
Front plates are required here in Texas, and it's a $250 fine if you get busted for not having one. And having it sitting up in your windshield will not cut it. A friend of mine got busted for that in his BMW.

Back onto the original topic after the front license plate diversion. Does anyone currently sell a correct reproduction front spoiler molded in argent? I'd like to replace mine (which is an OLD argent repro that only ever fit so-so) and I don't want to mess with trying to paint a black one if I don't have to.

I don’t think they are anymore but I did see a nos argent one on eBay some time ago.
