Generation "Y"

Y?

- People born before 1946 were called The Silent generation..

- People born between 1946 and 1964 are called The Baby Boomers.

- People born between 1965 and 1979 are called Generation X, .

- And people born between 1980 and 2010 are called Generation Y ,

Why do we call the last group Generation Y?

Y should I get a job?

Y should I leave home and find my own place?

Y should I get a car when I can borrow yours?

Y should I clean my room?

Y should I wash and iron my own clothes?

Y should I buy any food?

+1, I feel like an old timer compared to some of my friends. It is pretty funny non the less.

baby boomer here..... got a couple of Y's.... raised like the SILENT GENERATION My kids stand out like silent beacons of greatness among their peers. couldnt be more proud.

We have bout 49 Y's working in the office and most of them have MBA's and dont know a damn thing.

One thing that the list omits is the question that probably sums it up with the Y-guys:

Y do you bother to wear pants at all?

Followed by:

Y don't your buddies tell you you look like an idiot with the pants down to your knees?

But maybe thats just old man talk.........I'm a generation X member.

I remember a time when pants were made to cover your butt and underpants. (which is why they were called underpants in the first place....)
