I have a new Glock-21 (Gen-3). The factory slide release is flat unlike that if the Glock-34. Does anyone know if I can get an extended slide release for my 21? I don't want chrome or anything but I would like the extended lever so I feel it better without having to look at it.

Thanks....

Congrats on the new pistol. I've never owned a Glock, prefer hammer fired, but know that they are a dependable one to have available when needed.

You now have a shooter award icon. ;)

I have never owned one either but have shot several...I'm just not a polymer gun fan, and since I saw one being fired in slow motion I will never own one...just my own over cautious behavior.

the one gun I would not mind owning would be a Glock 35 full size full frame.

Thanks everyone. After reading about its durability after the numerous tests, I decided to carry one when I bow hunt (mostly wild pigs). And now, they seem to be the most commonly issued gun in most police departments. And, since i'm familiar with it, it made sense.

They are very utilitarian and MANY police departments use them because they are dependable and inexpensive...which is not a bad combo. A lot of people like them and a lot of people don't. Run a couple hundred rounds through it (or any pistol) before depending on it with your life.

I briefly had a Glock 21 (was babysitting it while a friend was deployed to Bosnia... for like 2 years), and I can honestly say, "I will have one again."

22 Gen4 .40 caliber Glock is the hot item by special operation troops and many police departments. 34 Oz. loaded with 15 rounds, accommodates left or right-handed operators and the only safety on it is your brain, if you have a round chambered and pull the trigger it fires a bullet at what ever the barrel is pointing at, every time. Glocks are nor thrills guns but the price it's hard to find a better gun you can trust your life with, that's why 65% of police in the United States carry Glocks.

Myself I prefer the S&W M&P but for dependable self protection at a reasonable price, it's hard to beat a Glock.

www.lonewolf.com for everything to make your Glock rock!

I bought and installed extended mag releases and lightened trigger pull springs for my Glock 9mm and 40

Thanks RacerX, there is some cool stuff on there but I don't want to make too many changes. I'm starting the police academy in California in August. I want the changes to make the gun just shoot smoother without raising any "red flags" as far as making it "more deadly"...California
