Haven't seen this before

While having owned Mustangs for years I noticed something today on my new 72 Sprint that I haven't seen before. The radiator hose clamp is stapled on the hose. What parts store did that? I can't imagine the hose is original.....

That is strange! Most parts stores don't give you a new clamp unless you ask...LOL!

They all were originally it ket the clamps from walking.

Marti reproduction hoses maintain this feature to be Concourse correct.

Now it can cause a problem if a staple was installed wrong. Meaning the hose can leak, when the staple is placed in the wrong spot, the staples should only be on the front part of the wire clamp. If it's on the inner loop it will leak.

could be original, check for any markings. 70's and 80's hoses had clamps attached.
