Hi

The headers in my 73 came with the car when I got it.  The clearence to the ground is about 5 inches. It also barely clears the motormount and steeringbox on the drivers side. I Think they are Hookers headers. Is there headers out that will fit better on the 73  with 351c 2v ? One tube had to be smashed a Little bit to make clear the motor mount. If I hit speedbump or something similar its probably godnight. Its this a custom job to make them are can I pick them up in a shop ?

High quality Headers. There are numerous posts here regarding them.  If you have stock 2v heads, you will need the 2v version.  If you have aftermarket heads such as the TFS 2v heads, you can use either the 2v OR the 4v FPA Headers.

Yes, I am absolutely 100% sure about this info.

They (I have the 4v version) will give you more ground clearance than your stock oil pan.
