help identify 1973 mustang plastic trim

Need some help identifying these plastic pieces. I am putting a 73 mach1 back together that was torn apart by someone else 20 years ago. These pieces in the pics were in the many boxes of parts. I am thinking maybe they go in the grill area?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They go in the front between the fenders and the headlights. You've got a full pair.

They are only used on 71and 72. The 73 grill is shaped differently and they were not required. They cover the access holes for the fender leading edge trim.

I stand corrected. I just checked my 73 (BD10/72) it also has them.
