1973 convertible
Hello, 1973 Convertible with edelbrock 2750 holley 600 street warrior and a 1 inch carb spacer. Will a 14x4 air filter fit without hood clearance issues?

iceicebaby,
I have a 351C4v with an Edelbrock Torker and 1/4'' spacer on my 71 Mach with 3'' air cleaner, tight, very tight.
My intake measures 4.9''front to 5.9'' at rear with a straightedge on the carb pad.
You would then have to get the specs of your intake and start doing some math.
also had same manifold and carb with 1'' spacer on a 13''x 3'' drop base
air cleaner that did not flow well at high rpm.
With a14'' your distributor becomes a factor too, especially if you have to ditch the spacer.
I went with an offset flat base and that is a tight fit, also pay attention to
the air cleaner lid, as most will rise 1 to 1.5''.
Will see if I can find the air cleaner info for you.

Thanks for the reply, any recommendations on a filter? How about the oval style?

Sorry that I missed convertible, which has different motor mount perches than other mustangs, that will enter into the equation as well.
What do you have on the car now ?.
Oval could work, hopefully someone will chime in that has one.
Iam not a great fan of dropped base air cleaners, IMHO,, they do not
promote quality air flow.
