Hood Hinge Rivets

Hi All.

Anyone know where to obtain 1973 Mach 1 hood hinge rivets? I'd like to rebuild mine if the rivets are available..

Some research brought up Hansen Rivets, but their stock items don't match the dimensions I need and I want to stick with the original hinges.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

The problem your going to have is once the rivets are taken out the holes are going to be egg shaped from wear..That requires enlarging them a tad then installing new larger bore rivets..I had mine rebuilt by these guys worth every penny http://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-hood-hinge-repair
