Glad to see all is still going well.  You shaved a second off so your improving.   Did you get a chance to see about running the dyno again?  Curious to see if the that line being off caused most of the issue.  

I actually did 0.1 seconds slower and today did the same time. That tells me that is not making much of a difference so i decided i didnt need to dyno it again.

I think that craft beer is getting to you. :lollerz:   On the first run you posted you have  13.50 at 105.  On your second slip you said you were the car on the right. That has 12.23 at 108.75.  I read that as 1.27 seconds faster.   Either way that's still great times considering the car is not set up for the track.   Anyway, hope you are staying cool and dry and still having a good time.  Wish I was there.

Day 4 (St. Louis)

Today was the longest leg. We went through a lot of highway which made the trip quick. We were expecting heat index of 110 today. It got there but in the early afternoon a storm came near by to lower the temps and hide the sun. It definitely helped. Another day of hitting the strip. Din 13.6 again at 106. In this trip i have done 8 passes at very consistent times. All at very hot temps.

We were also spoiled with the Formula Drift guys practicing for their weekend event.

so today was the last day. It was as hot as promised. Not much went on at the venue. We picked up our Long Hauler plaques and last day give aways. I helped a few people today that broke down in the way. It was a long day. Now i will be doing a track day tomorrow at Blackhawk so I have to empty a lot of junk from my car.

As a final report. I did the track day at Blackhawk to cap my HRPT. This is a 2 mile course at the Wisconsin-Illinos boarder. The early morning consisted of two HPDE sessions where we went around the track about 5 times with an instructor.

Then were the timed laps, which we had eight. I only did 4 since I found that my axle breather spit some oil which was very close to the rear driver side disc. I didnt want to push my luck. In any ways, this was a great and overwhelming day. There was a lot going on and a lot to sink in for my first time. The brakes definitely get a work out and now I understand what big and cool brakes are for. Spirited street driving is nothing compared to track driving. You are really hitting the brakes very hard in at least five of the seven turns. You can be doing 100+ on the straight and hitting your brakes very hard to make turn one. It can be real intimidating and very consuming for the brakes. The car definitely got a workout here.
