I was cleaning and putting ignition lube on all my light sockets and connectors yesterday. I got into the wiring in the area of the solenoid and the wires that go to my 70 amp alternator with white plug had one wire that had came out of the metal connector.

I hope Midlife can share how you remove the metal connector from the plastic plug so I can solder it back together? I know they make a tool for the round pins but know nothing about any of them.

A small jeweler's screwdriver unlocks most pin locking tabs. I believe on this bugger you have to move the plastic insert near the center towards the wall and the pin slides right out.

Thanks for the reply. I was building the carburetor and ran into a snag and came to look something up on computer.

On the carburetor I am thinking the extra parts I have are for different changes. Came with two steel balls and I know of only one in the check valve for accelerator pump.

Two other items are for a pump check valve and retainer pump air bleed valve. I found nothing like them in the carb.

Things that make you go Humm.

Will go and work on wiring while waiting on answer from carb. guy.

I have spring fever bad would love to be planting garden, lol.

Cheers,
