Yep 72 so correct you are... but I thought I would have a little fun with you guys.
So there really is a 72 Sprint Coupe. The price appeared within reason of the value I perceived. I drove out a round trip of nearly 300 miles. I look at the car and the antenna shot up immediately. The pics were much nicer than the real live car.

First glance he shows me the motor and describes how much he had to CLEAN the motor. 55k miles? WHY would it need so much cleaning?
Upon starting the car, it started good but the muffler was off. Well the FIRST clue was this car is positioned as a one owner 55,000 mile car. I guess its no surprise to you or some others my first thought is "with 55,000 miles its not going to affect a muffler and being parked in a garage it will most likely NOT wear out the muffler" so I'm listening to it idle and I hear something...cant make it out. Guess WHY...yep the mysterious muffler was so over bearing I couldnt tell. further research... I noted the seat was worn very bad. Well why is that a big deal? you dont wear a seat down that much just driving it 55k. I'm polite and patient and sitting in the seat I reach over and open the glove box. find papers and I'm fishing around and find a note. Note says "next oil change 94,000 miles"
After further review I noted the speed-o, the 55,000 and the first digit is ticked up or not in line with the rest of the numbers. Typically an indication the speed-o is rolled over......so we have a car with 55,000 miles that is REALLY 155,000 miles is my assessment. 0h and the car went from one owner to 3 owners after I exposed some details.
I'm not a buyer maybe one of you guys want to make a run...I'm in for 1500.00 at this point. * if the roof was good I would be much higher the miles dont bother me but the [/align] experience was worth it.
