Hurst shifter identification help

I just rebuilt my shifter (4 speed hurst) and i am fairly confident from what I could find on the internet that it is not the original on that came in the car mostly because the shift arms are not the same as what I can see from pictures, I was wondering if anyone could help me i dentify it so that I can make sure i placed them in the right order and orientation.

This was supposedly an original Hurst shifter from a 1971 mustang

My shifter stick is different which I know is replaceable im just saying but also the linkages are the threaded type at the end they just have a long hole section where you tighten a bolt on the correct alignment and the bottom of the shift arms come out a lot further than in your pictures.

At least the plate on the toploader, to mount it, should have a Fomoco Part No on it, find attached a few pics from mine, came original from a 71 BOSS.

Not sure, but the Shifter handle should be straight?!

That one looks correct to me, I‘ve the same, see below some pics

The welded handle indicates that's an aftermarket Hurst unit. Factory handles were a plug-in style.

My shifter stick is different which I know is replaceable im just saying but also the linkages are the threaded type at the end they just have a long hole section where you tighten a bolt on the correct alignment and the bottom of the shift arms come out a lot further than in your pictures.

The shifter body is a factory 70-73 mechanism, but the stop bolt on the front was added. This unit was used in the Mustang/Cougar and a very similar unit in the Torino/Montego. Pic below is a factory 71 setup, the blue paint is a factory ID paint daub. 70-71 have the flat handle, 72-73 have a round.
