Interior lights flashing

I have installed VDO after market guages in the guage console. My issue is the lights are pulsing. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Do you happen to know how to wire the guages off the off the factory wiring harness?

Do you happen to know how to wire the guages off the off the factory wiring harness?

I made my own harness that plugs inserts between where the console/heater light connects. There's a 2-wire connector there. I bought some off-the-shelf 2-wire connectors and wired them together, along with 2 more pigtails to break out. That lets me plug my concoction in the factory harness and pull power off for the lights for my center gauges. And that light is only powered when I turn on the rest of the dash lights.
