Looking for a color combo photo

1973 Mustang convertible in grabber blue, with that trim package that includes the chrome molding at the bottom of the car with black accents under that, And with 17” Black centered Bullitt rims. Funny, I couldn’t locate anything with that combo in my failed search. Anyone have a car close to that? I think I can add the rims if the other stuff is there. Thank you in advance.

Thanks @ib4stangs. That’s a very close pic of what I’m trying to find. Does anyone know if that black at the bottom of the car is paint or? My paint looks much narrower, and has I think a chrome border that is on the paint line between the two paint colors.



It’s hard for me to tell if that car is the same. Does anyone know if there were two treatments of the rocker area?

As I understand it, if the car came with the hockey stick stripe, it got a black rocker paint with an adjacent black pinstripe. If it did not have the hockey stick stripe, it got a black rocker with the chrome/stainless trim.

And it seems, the holes that hold that trim on were made on the assembly line. The backside of mine, inside the door, are very rough. Not like the finish a punch press would make, more like a drill bit. Just an interesting thing about our cars; something I doubt you would ever see on an assembly line today.
