MAC headers

Im trying to install my new long tube headers. Passenger went in great but driver is a pain! Gearbox and crossmember in the way...Am i going to have to remove these? installing from bottom. Any tips would be appreciated....Thanks.

Don't know what headers you have. I am running hooker long tube and on the drivers side I went through the bottom and had no trouble.

Also have Hooker Longtube. Driver's side was tighter but still worked in from bottom alone.

you may need to hoist to get the right angle.

Is the front of the car elevated? Usually need to raise the car to get enough vertical clearance to get the header in. May also need to take the engine mount loose from the frame and raise the engine a bit to get it in. Chuck
