All,

I have the Mallory 6A Hy-Fire and found on E-Bay to rebuild my Hy-fire with better output. I purchased the $99.00 rebuild and shipped to address listed on E-Bay. Everything was going well until I started receiving UPS address exceptions. I contacted the vendor and they stated they have moved and ship it to the new address. Well, that cost me an extra $12.50. After that change, I still received address UN-deliverable exceptions. Dawg gone it! What is going on here. I reached out again to the vendor with NO responses. I called UPS and they said the vendor called and had the address changed to the original address. I said, really? After today's exception again, I sent an e-mail that might have to pull the plug on this purchase and the next thing I know, I got a refund in my PayPal for the $99.00 and NO apologies. Received no ship to reimbursement due to the sites in accurate ship to address.

Called UPS and requested to return to shipper, me, that cost me another $17.00. Fantastic!!

Not at all a good customer experience here with this E bay vendor.

I actually ordered a product but made the mistake of asking for pictures of the item I ordered. I stated to the vendor I would buy the item but would like to verify I was receiving the claimed quality. One week....two weeks...third week . I finally called on a Saturday morning just to check in on the progress of getting the pictures. *Please note that I was awaiting pictures and was patient in getting the information. Then the vendor advised that I go to his area 1200 miles away and show up with CASH by Monday morning (note this was approximately a day and a half notice) because another customer was coming to buy stuff and bringing a friend that was interested in the stuff I WAS WAITING ON. I explained that (SINCE HE RUNS A BUSINESS) that I would pay by credit card to prove my interest and ability to BUY the product and then agree to an appropriate time for me to drive the 1200 miles and pay cash.....then this BUSINESS could credit my credit card and have the "CASH" ( apparently unreported cash) they requested.....

I was told to show up with cash or it was MY LOSS!!!

rpmcarter,

Yes, there schisters plus the dishonest business person and then, there are the crooks. What is sad about my the experience, is that I wanted to procure the rebuild. Just as you stated, eventually the smell over ran the product.

I am glad that you were able to recognize that something here did not add up and loose some money.

yessir I understand. One thing we don't need is to lose money on our projects just trying to do business. If I tried to pull that crap in my business ...I wouldn't last long. Unlike our hobby, in my business it is a small circle even with what appears to be thousands of players. Shell out junk by product or by your word, and the word will spread.

Case in point a long time customer is at a convention here in town 1300 miles from their home base. I was surprised to see them here....but they were on point to tell everybody that I treated them well and made sure we stayed on top of the business. OUTSTANDING recommendations. In a another case one customer thousand miles away tells one here in my back yard "why aren't you doing business with him....He has outperformed every competitor and I had NO IDEA they knew each other...SMALL WORLD!!!!!
