The Ebay car I linked is up to $35K with a day and a half left. Looks like the price is going to be pretty stout before it is done.

The buyer definitly got a deal. Sorry for my friend though. It was a numbers matching car with original documentation from sale. INteresting thing about the car was the color selections. Pewter with a Ginger interior. I do not think they would have made many like that. He offered the car up to me, but that is when I was deep into the expense of my 72 resto.

There is a red restored 71 429CJ on eBay listed for 75K. It is not a numbers matching car from what I read.

I agree, that is a very clean car.  I agree on the re spray. There is something about that light pewter paint that I like.
