I'm curious..whats your take as to why your having such a hard time selling this car, getting your number ? Looks like a nice car much better than others I see selling for a few bucks less than what your asking

I'm curious..whats your take as to why your having such a hard time selling this car, getting your number ? Looks like a nice car much better than others I see selling for a few bucks less than what your asking

Short answer, a lot flakes out there. A lot of false commitments from people who say they are going to buy it and last minute flake. When I initially had it priced at 25k, I had several individuals ready to buy and then they say, their wife said no and such....at that time I had offers of 22k, but said no. Now that I have it priced lower, I can't find the darn phone numbers to those individuals. I've pulled up my phone records but unfortunately it's been longer than I can remember. And now that it has been holiday season, people haven't been buying classics. I just think the car show buy/sell craze peaks between April and August and everything outside of that is hit and miss. I have more success with leads when I have it parked somewhere, but it's been raining and too cold.

Humm..Same thing I've been dealing with trying to sell my mint 04 350z with 17,000 miles..I call it the "Lost in space syndrome" Yea I want it Yea I'm going to buy it ,yea I'll call you right back..don't hear a word = LOST IN SPACE..Btw as soon as you hear "I have to check with the wife" =Not buying been transported to the enterprise! I've never had such a hard time as the last 3 months trying to sell a car..Oh well glad it's not just me..

Kinder... what sites have you listed it on? You may want to try auto trader, it cost a few bucks but you get a wide audience. I sold my last muatang on that site from SC to a lady from OK. Also try mustang classifieds, I'm always checking that site for cars. Good luck!
