Oh no!! When did that happen?
Tuesday (7-02) on the way home from work.

Two lanes north and two lanes south 35 mph

city street with an island. Going north in inner lane

when car pulls out of parking lot. Had to cross two

south bound lanes to reach island, then proceeded

into north lane without stopping. I could not stop so

moved to outer lane and the Lexus followed for

unknown reasons. Had the Lexus stayed in the inner

lane I would have simply gone around it. My car ended

up on the sidewalk and missed a 10 foot concrete sound

wall by two inches. All things considered, it was a good day.

The Lexus that hit me suffered far more damage.

Enough said, where do you buy one of these?

That Blows ! You can't get a O.E.M. qtr from from ford..You better start looking on craigs list ....post a wanted ad here..ebay..etc...Expect to pay anywhere from 800.00 to 1500.00 for a original qtr.. It's really what you need for that repair..since it looks like the top next to the trunk lid took a good smack also. It's gonna be a bitch of a job if you have to use an aftermarket section/ qtr since the aftermarket only goes up to the top edge..Not impossible but more work to do it right. Might be able to find a good used cut off...Check with Don at OMS

Hey Don,

I was just getting ready to email you , amazing!

Have not talked in length with my agent about the next

step, but your hired! When a local shop looks at this they

will freak out, that is where you come in. Already spent

$700.01 on tires, I did not have a penny on me so they were

going to cancel the order. The trunk lid and lights work fine

so it is all cosmetic. My mechanic tells me to replace that part

will run around $2000.

Also, that new exhaust system sounds AWESOME. Well Done!

I will upload a video.

Mike,

A mechanic is not a body guy..Nor does he own operate a body shop..I can't tell you how many times a customer walked into my shop with "my mechanic said" There's more than 2k there believe me.. 2k is a hack job..You have at least 500.00 in material & 300-500- for a good used qtr..theres a grand right off the get go before you even lift a finger to it..Check the trunk floor for buckling on the left side..There's nothing to freak out about..car should be put on the frame machine..unibody measured..instead of guessing..the rear body panel is going to need some work too where it joins the qtr..I see more like 5-6 k there for the right job..depends what you find once you measure the rails rear crossmember & depends what your using to replace..a used section is going to need prep..they don't come ready to install. like an oem piece would..JMHO

Sorry it happened but at least everyone was ok...got any pics of the attacker?
No pics, had to borrow the driver's cell phone to call a tow truck.

Then needed to convince the driver to call the police because there

was significant damage to both vehicles. Guess I need to start

carrying one of my cell phones :p

I'd buy it ASAP if that was my car...Thats the part you need & 500.00 is a steal..
Q - 500.00 is a great deal BUT read his fine print - in large letters

Mike get a shipping quote and " crating " cost from him -

IF it is reasonalbe - that is a good price on the 1/4

SHIPPING WILL BE MARKED ''FREE SHIP''ON THE LISTING BUT WILL NOT BE,SO IT WILL BE FAIR TO BOTH SIDES.IT CAN BE PICKED UP OR SHIPPED BY THE TRUCKING CO OF YOUR CHOICE AND PRICE FIGURED OUT THEN.IT WOULD BE BEST TO HAVE IT CRATED AS
